(E) Situation between 1912 – 1952

Although Pollokshaws was annexed to Glasgow in 1912, photographic evidence from Virtual Mitchell website and Pollokshaws Heritage Group Website suggests that the area continued with the village atmosphere with no large changes to the area   Wholesale changes to the area did not occur until the Comprehensive Development Area plans.
